PORTAL OF ASHÉ In this introduction to the Lukumí-Yoruba religion, Obá Ernesto Pichardo explains the cosmological portals connecting Earth and the Universe. These portals are, in effect, layers of spherical conduits through which energy is transferred from Olodumare [God or One Substance] to recipient earthly subtances.
